Heuer’s 1959-60 Catalog included the “Giant Yacht Timer”, Reference 33-712.  This stopwatch measured 57 millimeters across the dial and was the first of the Heuer Yacht Timers to use the “Century Design”.  With the Century Design, the minute hand was mounted on the center pinion, with the minute scale printed around the edge of the dial.  Prior to the introduction of the Century Design, the minutes were shown on a relatively small register placed on the dial.
